What do you see?

And where is the story?

A generative creative writing workshop with KTTC instructor Kathy Curto at The Idea Kitchen

Rick Rubin reminds us:

“To live as an artist is a way of being in the world. A way of perceiving. A practice of paying attention. Refining our sensitivity to tune in to the more subtle notes. Looking for what draws us in and what pushes us away. Noticing what feeling tones arise and where they lead.”

Let’s see what happens when we come together, pay attention and let the subtle notes speak to us.

There will be wine, sparkling water, bread (homemade by Kathy!) and good Italian cheese to enjoy along the way.

Join us for a generative creative writing session led by Key to the Castle Workshop instructor Kathy Curto at The Idea Kitchen, one designed to spark the senses, open the heart and invite words and rhythm onto the page. Bill Papaleo’s solo exhibit, Southern Italy: An American Artist’s Life, will serve as a series of visual prompts for new stories and fresh written work.

BONUS: Read your new story at the exhibit’s closing reception on Sunday 6/23 at 2pm. (Optional, registered workshop participants only.)
