TWO NIGHTS TO THE END:

Write a story from beginning to end in two nights

A generative creative writing workshop with KTTC instructor Pat Dunn and guest instructor Alexandra Soiseth at The Idea Kitchen 1940 Palmer Ave, Larchmont, NY 10538

In these two connected two-hour sessions, we will guide you through the process of writing a story—beginning, middle and the end—and revising it.

In the first session, using tailored prompts and the writers tool kit—dialogue, setting, background, showing and telling, conflict, suspense, foreshadowing, sensory details—you will write the first draft of a story.

In the second session we will once again use tailored prompts and writer’s took kit to revise your story.

In the end, you will walk away with a story—beginning, middle, and end,and techniques and strategies you can apply to the other stories you want, and or, need to tell.

BONUS: Read your new story at the closing reception of William Papaleo’s solo exhibit, Southern Italy: An American Artist’s Life on Sunday 6/23 at 2pm. (Optional, registered workshop participants only.)
